On the afternoon of October 28, Founder of the InvestCHN Chase Wu and his delegation were invited to participate opening ceremony of The 2019 Rugao Science and Technology Talents Fair in the adminstractive center of Rugao. In recent years, Rugao has actively grabbed the opportunities of national strategic such as the Yangtze River Delta, further emancipation of the mind thinking, economic and social development continues to reach a new level. From this year, Rugao carried “big and major projects landing” activities, with the courage to take responsibility, acting, dare to be the first, fiscal revenue, fixed asset investment and taxable sales are standard forefront of Nantong. He also emphasised that talents people are the first resource, innovation is the first motion resource. Since 1997 the first Rugao Science and Technology Talents Fair established, it always follows the strategies of “technological developing city” and “talents people strengthening the city”, effectively set up a communication bridge between enterprises, government and talents people. Which it become an important platform to acttracting talents people and developing cooperation for the promotion Rugao. He hopes that a greater number of talents people would visited and communication in Rugao to feel the unique charm of this civilised capital, innovative city and etc., work hard in Rugao, achieve career and realise dream life.

  Jianhua Zhang, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee delivered a speech on the titled “Embracing the Yangtze River Delta and Pursuing a New Era of Dreams”. He expressed that Rugao is located in the north of the Yangtze River Delta, with the name of “Jiangsu’s historical and cultural city, Capital of flowers and bonsai in china, world’s longevity and health land”. It is a national civilised city with award of China Habitat Environment. It also ranked 24th in the national to 100 economy county lists and 9th of Forbes’s best county level cities in mainland of China. As a county city surrounded by rivers and seas, Rugao has unique advantages and features, the unique one dominates in the Yangtze River Delta. “walking into Rugo, you can find more than thousand years culture; walking into Rugo, you can enjoy the greenery; walking into Rugo, you can enjoy with a longer life; walking into Rugao, you can enjoy the civilisation of great love; walking into Rugao, you can become better;” He emphasised that the development strategy of the Yangtze River Delta will bring profound changes in the transportation, industrial layout, urban functions of the entire region, and reshaping of the economic geography of the Yangtze River Delta. In particular with Nantong speeding up the construction of a new airport, a railway along the North River, a new port in TongZhou Bay and efforts to build the strategic fulcrum of the Yangtze River Economic point and the gateway city to the north of the Shanghai metropolis have brought Rugao a major opportunities and strong support for high quality development in surround area. Rugao City will actively respond to national strategy  to integrate with Shanghai, accelerate its integration into the Yangtze River Delta, make a great city, a good citizen, build an strong team, to achieve a mid to high end industrial cluster with the most resource and cost advantage, the most characteristic eco-tourism city, the most friendly city, the most energetic place, focus on the construction of “one city, two districts and three bases” in Yangtze River Delta area to build a great stage for innovation and entrepreneurship for all types of enterprises and talents people.   At the opening ceremony, Third Generation Semiconductor Industry Technology Research Institute (China and Ukraine), DHRG advanced Fibre Materials Lab, Rugao Longevity Characteristic Agricultural Products Research Institute, the unveiling of these three technological innovation platform projects. Represent of Rugao innovation and entrepreneurs expressed that a group of “Science and technology strong enterprises was commended for Rugao city’s 2019”; with guests visited the Rugao Science and Technology Innovation Photo Exhibition on the 70th anniversary of the founding China.
