On the afternoon of September 26, 2019 China Changzhou International Forum on Science and Technology & Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation opening ceremony was held in Changzhou Administrative Center, Founder of the InvestCHN Chase Wu and his delegation were invited to participate. The theme of this year’s conference is based on “joining forces for high quality, building an international City”. The event invites over 600 guests from well known domestic and organisation, including 150 foreign businessmen.

  At the opening ceremony, 25 major projects including Shinco China Headquarters, Hong Kong and China Global Circular Economy Project were signed, which it including 12 foreign investment projects and 13 domestic funded projects, which these projects are involving biomedicine, auto parts, rail transit, financial leasing, modern logistics, infrastructure and other different fields. During the ceremony, it is expected 162 investment projects, including 26 foreign found projects will be signed with a total investment of 3.055 billion USD and 136 domestic founded projects with a total investment of 60.441 billion Yuan.

  During the Fair, 63 thematic events was held, including three sections. First section is "signing, starting and completion", for example: 2019 Wujin District Key Project Concentration Signing Ceremony, Changzhou National High-tech Zone Key Project Concentration Commencement and BYD East China (Changzhou) Industrial Base Foundation Laying Ceremony and other 32 events. Second section "special promotion" such as China Changzhou-Thailand, Vietnam, Laos Economic and Trade Investment and Tourism Promotion Seminar, 2019 Entrepreneurship Bridge The 16th Overseas Talents Changzhou Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair and other 14 projects; third section "forum summit activities" such as "Quality Engine Intelligent Inspection Escort" China (Changzhou) Inspection, Testing and Certification Industry Summit, China (Jiangsu) Central and Eastern Europe Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum with other 17 activities.

  During the Fair to help Changzhou enterprises become global, The Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce issue the "Guide to 100 Countries (Regions) Investment Environment Factors" the economic status of 100 related countries and regions such as cost of production factors, policy’s benefits, Chinese economic and trade cooperation park, embassies consulates and agencies of major investment promotion, risk analysis tips and so on. The six types of investment, economic, trade cooperation issue, as well as provides data on transportation, water and electricity, labour wages, land and house purchases and leases in the country and region. To achieve a target of assistance and effective guidance for Changzhou enterprises to “go global” and “help development”.

  Since 2005, China Changzhou International Forum on Science and Technology & Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation started and hold the event for 15 years. In these 15 years, it has become an important platform and characteristic brand for Changzhou to cooperate with domestic and foreign science and technology, economy and trade, industries, projects, and talents people. A total amount of more than 270 major projects have been signed at the fairs, 1250 projects have started, completed and into production such as ThyssenKrupp, Siemens, LANXESS, AGCO, etc. have settled in Changzhou. Nowadays, there are more than 3,800 foreign invested enterprises in Changzhou, involving 107 countries and regions. A total actual utilisation of foreign capital of 36.1 billion USD and nearly 300,000 jobs were created in the area. With an actually received 1.82 billion from foreign capital January to August this year.  “Made in Changzhou” has gone abroad over 220 countries and regions.  In 2018, the city’s total import and export volume reached 34.39 billion USD and the city also ranked 23rd of the “China’s Top 100 Foreign Trade Cities”.
