On the morning of November 7, Founder of InvestCHN Chase Wu and his delegation were invited to participate 2018 Wuxi High Technology Zone Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Festival of Hundred Enterprise Major Projects Signing Ceremony. At the event, a total of 112 projects were signed with a total investment of 77.6 billion Yuan.

  The number of contracted projects this time are broken the records of total invest and total number of contracts in previous Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Festivals. A total of 112 projects signed, which 50 projects are advanced manufacturing, 17 projects are modern service industries, and 45 projects are science and technology; a total contract value of 77.6 billion Yuan, which 72.2% are advanced manufacturing and technology projects, and 27.8% are modern service industries. 50 projects of advanced manufacturing projects with an average investment of 1.1 billion Yuan for each project. It is showing the great results that Wuxi High Technology Zone achieved in recent years and continuous focus on attract major projects into the area.

  Jinjian Wang, Vice Mayor of Wuxi, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of High Technology Zone and Secretary of the Xinwu District Committee expressed that since this year, Wuxi High Technology is leading high quality development, implement the development strategy of industry. The region GDP of 130.641 billion Yuan with an increase of 8.3%, it is the highest growth rate since the establishment of the zone; output value reached 25% of the city’s total industrial with an increase of 9.6%. Imports and exports totalled 37.149 billion USD, which exports were 20.308 billion Yuan up by 18.9% and 20.2%. Foreign investment in place with 1.004 billion USD which manufacturing accounted for 63.6% and strategic emerging industries accounted for 48.8%. Wuxi High Technology Zone is expected that to hit new records with quantity and quality of foreign capital utilised throughout the year. It formed to a new generation of information technology industry as the mainstay of 100 billion industry link, including biomedicine, advanced equipment manufacturing and other fields of industries.

  Since the Wuxi High Technology Zone Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Festival series of activities stared in middle of October, apart from Hundred Enterprise Major Projects Signing Activities. The event also arranged 12 special signings and start-up activities; Airport, Jiangxi, Meicun, Hongshan etc. also held construction and completion activities with a total investment of 9 billion Yuan. In addition, overseas economic and trade invitation activities have been arranged with Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, etc. with a lot of major projects will be released in overseas activities. It is expected in the High Technology Zone Golden Autumn Economic and Trade activities with total investment of 100 billion Yuan signed and completed projects in the district.
