  With a great gathering of huge number of guests at the meeting, Secretary of the Hai'an County Party Committee Guobiao Gu promoted Hai'an, he says that Hai'an is one of the provincial level transportation hubs of two settled in county-level cities determined by Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. It is also a regional comprehensive transportation hub that connecting the north side of the Yangtze River Delta through to south side, which connecting the river to the sea. With the accelerated construction of Shanghai - Nantong, Yancheng - Nantong High Speed Railway, Hai'an will fully enter the High Speed Railway era, which it is will integrated into the “Shanghai, Nanjing one hour economic circle” and become an important node city in the coastal area of Jiangsu and along the Yangtze River.

  The advantage of transportation is the biggest advantage of Hai'an development, and technological innovation is another beautiful showcase of Hai'an. Hai'an is a national demonstration county for science and technology progress, a China industry university research cooperation innovation demonstration base, an innovative pilot county in Jiangsu Province, and a pilot county for comprehensive reform of science and technology innovation system in Jiangsu Province. In recent years, Hai'an has issued a number of policies to encourage innovation, accelerate the creation of various innovative carrier platforms, and more “innovation cells” have been activated, attracting a large number of innovative resources such as scientific research institutions, colleges and universities and high level talents.   The County Magistrate of Hai'an County, Lizhong Yu said that Hai'an has transformed its location advantages and innovation advantages into development advantages. Industrial projects will be used as the “No. 1 Project” to promote rapid and healthy economic and social development. The effective project construction has enabled Hai'an to change the pace of new and old kinetic energy faster, and laid a solid industrial foundation. It has formed four major leading industries such as nylon functional new materials, textile silk, new materials and equipment manufacturing, as well as robots and intelligent equipment, emerging industries such as energy conservation and environmental protection, new energy, new energy vehicles and their accessories.

  Nowadays, Hai'an has become a hot spot for Chinese and foreign projects to compete. At the investment and trade cooperation fair, 67 Chinese and foreign projects were signed, with a total investment of more than 33 billion Yuan. It involves large scale cultural and sports comprehensive development, new energy, high end equipment manufacturing, auto parts, intelligent robots, and modern agriculture. Among them, the total investment of Hong Kong Jinqiu International Supply Chain Project and Shanghai Ou Chao International Central European Industrial Park Project exceeded 100 million USD. At the cooperation fair, Hai'an commended the “Top Ten Investing Entrepreneurs” and “Top Ten New Hai'an People”.
