On the morning of December 8, Founder of InvestCHN Chase Wu and his delegation were invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the first phase and the groundbreaking ceremony of the second phase of Changxing Sino-German International Industrial Cooperation Park, Zhejiang and the groundbreaking ceremony of the American Industrial Village Project.

  The event was hosted by the Changxing County Committee and County Government, the Changxing Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee and the County Commerce Bureau. More than 100 guests were invited to participate , including Ms. Claudia Spahl, the Deputy Consul General of the German Consulate General in Shanghai, Zhou Guanchao, the Deputy Special Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce in Hangzhou, and the Leader of Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, Leader of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Leader of Bank of China Zhejiang Branch, Leader of Huzhou Sub-branch, Zhou Weibing, Secretary of Changxing County Party Committee, foreign-invested representatives of centralized contracted projects, foreign businessmen with investment intentions, Shanghai Representative Office of German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shanghai Representative of German Small and Medium Enterprises Association, Hangzhou Representative Office of the China-Britain Business Council, international consulting companies, and representatives of foreign-invested enterprises in the region attended the event.

  In 2015, Zhejiang Province fully launched the construction of the International Industrial Cooperation Park. In the same year, Changxing Sino-German International Industrial Cooperation Park, Zhejiang, was successfully awarded the first batch of Zhejiang International Industrial Cooperation Park. Up to now, the province has already owned 19 international industrial cooperation parks at or above the provincial level, and successfully introduced more than 200 projects in the corresponding cooperative countries with a total investment of more than 7 billion US dollars. The International Industrial Cooperation Park is oriented to a specific country and introduces urgently needed industries for local industrial transformation. With its own platform and policy advantages, it provides precise support for the transformation and upgrading of Zhejiang enterprises and industrial innovation, and provides technology, talents and capital convenience for the industry of the region and the entire industry and “Going out “and “Introduce”of industry. It is the only way for Zhejiang and developed countries to achieve more precise and deeper cooperation in the industry.

  Changxing Sino-German International Industrial Cooperation Park, Zhejiang, is located in the national-level Changxing Economic and Technological Development Zone, adjacent to the Changning Station of Hangning High-speed Railway and the Changxing Exit of Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway. The total planned area of the park is 5 square kilometers. The industry is positioned as new energy vehicle and key components, intelligent equipment manufacturing, large health industry and production service industry; the development is oriented to small and medium-sized German-funded enterprises, also taking the international industrial cooperation zones of European and American enterprises into account . The first phase of the park has an area of about 50 mu and a total construction area of about 20,000 square meters. It consists of 4 standard workshops with a total area of 16,000 square meters and a comprehensive service center of 4,000 square meters. It was designed by the German FTA company and construction started in December 2016. It will be delivered in December 2017. The second phase of the park is located on the north side of the first phase, covering an area of 76 mu, with construction of 62,000 square meters plants. The construction will start simultaneously in December 2017 and is expected to be delivered by the end of 2018. The US industrial village project covers an area of about 279 acres and is planned to build a high-standard factory building of about 220,000 square meters. The foundation stone was launched in December 2017 and wiil be delivered in phases in 2019.

  Since the Changxing Sino-German International Industrial Cooperation Park, Zhejiang, establishmented for more than a year, Changxing Economic and Technological Development Zone has actively “Going out” and has launched investment promotion in Germany, Italy, Finland, the United States and other countries, and invited special promotion conferences, and also connected with relevant countries’ consulates in Shanghai, chambers of commerce, associations and organizations to contact, invited more than 200 batches of merchants to Changxing for inspection. At present, a number of high-quality foreign investment projects such as the US Solid State Battery Materials Project, the French Infrared Equipment Project, the Malaysian Automation Equipment Project, the German Solar Cell Project, the German Automation Equipment Project, and the German Precision Parts Project have been successfully introduced. In addition, the German medical precision parts project, the Sino-German intelligent manufacturing technology service project, the German VR software design project, the German new automobile motor manufacturing project, the Sino-German vocational education training project, and the Canadian AIM material project were signed at the centralized signing ceremony on 8th of December.
