Morning of 28th November, Founder of InvestCHN Chase Wu and his delegation went Huaian Government office (Patriotism Education Base) for a study tour. Accompanied by Jianmin Ding, executive Vice Mistster of the Organisation Department of the Huaian District Committee and Director of the District Committee’s Editing Department; Junjian Xiong, Director of the Organisation Department of the Huaian District Committee.

  The history of Huaian Government Office can be traced back to the Southern Song Dynasty. It was originally the Wutong Temple in Southrern Song Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty of Hongwu year, Zhong Fan, the prefect repaired as a government office and named Huaian Government Office.

  Hongwu third year, new prefect in Huaian, Bin Yao chose the location place. As a result, Bin Yao picked Wutong Temple and Yuanyi Yanwanhu Mansion in the southern Song Dynsty north of Shanban Street. He also rebuilt the building as the new office of Huaian Mansion, the build was use until the end of the Qing Dynasty.

  In 1911. Since after the Xinhai revolution, Huaian Government Offfice has been occupied by factories.

  After Xinhai Revolution, Jiangsu’s economy is developing rapidly, Huaian as a national historical and cultural city, protection culture and utilise has been highlighted. After long time of repairs and restoration the environment of surrounding landscape, Huaian Government Office is integration with Cao Yun Government Department and Zhenhuai Tower. The place is become the largest ancient official government in the center of the ancient city.

  Huaian city has a history of over 2200 years. 24th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, Enlai Zhou the president was born in Cheng Ma Xiang Huaian city. It is an born in place for Huaiyang cuisine and historically place for military area. Huai City as know as “Huaicheng of Iron Stike” and “one Along Canal of Four Major Cities”.

  Since beginning, Huaian has a famous sights and historical sites, as one of the government official offices in China.

  During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Huaian city is an important prosperous place for water transportation. Western and northern side of the city is surround with river, only the middle of north south has a higher topography.

  Huaian Government Office is located in northern of the centre of the city and water transport department is located in the middle of the city. Other institutes, Shanyang County Office and other department are located in the south central area. Water transport of Punishments department is located in the south corner of the city. Huai Government office is settled middle of these department, it is easy to commanded with a benefit of topography.
