23th of December, the Founder of InvestCHN Chase Wu and his delegation visited Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (CIPA). Dansong Xu, Director of Complaint Center and Risk Management Department for foreign invested enterprises; Wenlong Zhu, Domestic Liaison Department, Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industry Department, Director of Development Zone Promotion Office and Ruochen Lin, Director of the Machinery Industry Department attended the meeting.

  At the meeting, Xu Director introduced the CIPA was established in February 2003, to implement the national policy of opening-up and serving foreign investors as its own responsibility, CIPA also focuses on the Two-way investment promotion “bringing in” and “going out”. There are five industry divisions in CIPA, the first Industry Department (Agriculture and Energy Industry), the second Industry Department (Machine Industry), the third Industry Department (Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry), the fourth Industry Department (Electronic Information Industry) and fifth Industry Department (Modern Service Industry).

  Director Lin introduced that currently they focus on cooperative with government of Jilin Province, Ningbo, Zhenjiang，Taicang，Weihai,Guangan, Industrial parks and others, fully help and developed local promote work.

  Lin Director shared the industry oriented, to provide professional services, to customise industrial development plans and industrial investment promotion plans for local governments and development zone.

  Founder of InvestCHN Yonghao Wu introduced development history of InvestCHN since its established to three Directors. By the Document 57 from the General Office of the State Council in 2014, cancel the county level ministries and bureaus website. Therefore, this development zone cluster platform InvestCHN was created. 2015 to 2016 research and development were completed. From 2016 to 2017, it establishes contacts in different development zones. There are most 300 development zones settled in the platform. 2018 to 2020, total of 26 foreign funded industrial projects have been completed. Total amount 1.256 billion USD of contracted foreign investments. The total utilisation of foreign expense is 623 million USD, the agreed annual output value is 12.5 billion Yuan and with estimated annual tax revenue of 1.2 billion Yuan.

  Founder of InvestCHN Yonghao Wu expressed that he learned a lot of knowledge and gain a better understanding on the working for investment promotion. He is also becoming more confident in making InvestCHN stronger and bigger, to help China’s industrial economy better!
