Company Background: In 1986, managing director Georg Weidner founded BGW-Bohr GmbH as a one-man operation. With only a small budget available, the first production site was set up in a garage. Through continuous development and innovation, the company has changed dramatically over the years. Now a medium-sized company, BGW-Bohur GmbH today employs over 50 people on permanent contracts and, as a result of this growth, the company has had to expand its premises several times by relocating and adding new buildings. The current company-owned facility occupies a site of over 30, 000 m², including 8100 m² of production and storage buildings and 250 m² of office space. The product range has evolved with the market. In the beginning, the company was primarily a supplier to the mechanical engineering industry. Today, however, it offers a full spectrum of products, primarily to the precast concrete industry. The company is proud to be certified by TÜV Product Service in accordance with ISO 9002.
